A shocking discovery emerged from a prestigious company's canteen in Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad, where samosas were found to contain condoms, stones, tobacco, gutka, and other foreign objects. Investigations revealed that a businessman orchestrated this appalling act in a desperate attempt to secure the catering contract from a new contractor after his agreement with the company was terminated. The incident, uncovered on March 27, prompted police to register a case against five individuals, with one arrest made thus far.
This distressing revelation bears resemblance to a previous alarming incident earlier this year when approximately 20 teachers from Dronacharya Degree College in Dankaur, Uttar Pradesh, fell ill after consuming samosas tainted with poisonous worms from a local sweet shop during New Year's Eve celebrations. Subsequent investigations uncovered the samosas' stale condition and poisonous content, leading the college principal to file a complaint against the sweet shop owner, seeking justice for the affected teachers.
